Manizha Naderi was born in Kabul, Afghanistan and was raised in New York and New Jersey. She lives in Queens, NY with her husband and daughter.

Manizha joined Women for Afghan Women in 2002. In February 2003, she was hired at WAW and is the Administrative and Community Outreach Director. She is resposible for the day to day operations of WAW.
