Dr. Clair Apodaca received her PhD from Purdue University in 1996. Dr. Apodaca serves on Executive Committee on Human Rights for the American Political Science Association as Section Secretary. Her areas of research include U.S. foreign policy, the international protection of human rights, and women’s human rights. Her work has appeared in International Studies Quarterly, Human Rights Quarterly, Journal of Refugee Studies and Asian Survey.
