MIKELE ABOITIZ
Women’s Rights Advocate
Staff Member Collins Center for Public Policy, Inc.



Mikele Aboitiz Earle is a women’s rights advocate and activist. A native of Uruguay, she moved to USA to receive her BA in Anthropology magna cum laude from Drew University and her MBA in management from the Fordham Graduate School of Business. She recently has worked as a program associate with the Women's International League for Peace and Freedom at the United Nations in New York, advocating for the passage and implementation of Security Council Resolution 1325 on Women, Peace and Security and organizing events for the Commission for the Status of Women and other international conferences.  

Recently, Mikele joined the staff of the Collins Center for Public Policy, Inc., a local think-tank, as a full-time staff member for the Community Voices program - an initiative seeking ways to improve access to health care for the uninsured and underserved. She has been a volunteer with the Women's Fund of Miami-Dade County, a member of the National Society of Hispanic MBAs, and a volunteer with Amnesty International in addition to other activities and accomplishments.
